These woven stools are intended to be the first project for students attending the creative arts center, A primary goal of the space is to celebrate the diverse backgrounds of the students through the exploration of the creative arts. The seats will be woven using different patterns, techniques, and materials by each individual student. These stools will act as a visual representation of their identity and give them a sense of ownership in the space. When not being used, the seats will become a part of the space and be hung as a wall installation, celebrating the diversity of the students.
